Greeting

Nanzanso which opened in 1907 has been a quaint historic
Japanese hotel beloved by many authors. Yasunari Kawabata
(A Nobel Prize winning author) stayed at this hotel during
Taisho Era (1912-1926). Hakushu Kitahara stayed here
at the beginning of Showa Era (1926-1989). The Sukiya-style of buildings
which are detached guest houses still remains the old days’ romantic
hot spa atmosphere from Taisho and Showa Eras.
Our hot spring is directly conducted from 2 original springs.
We have 3 different types of hot spring baths.

Additionally, we serve you with a new accommodation style as a stay plan with a breakfast since 2003.
